Tuesday

Tuesday's protected block is the last clean runway before Friday: unblock the unknown deadlines, bank MMA2005 portfolio pages, and move the MEC4407 detailed design and the ENG4702 paper off zero.

The W9 minutes (due Thu) and the Nylon print both need a campus day and Thursday is wall-to-wall — do them Wednesday, not Thursday. Dropped today: the BMS3052 PPD (2%, due Fri), which still fits Friday's free morning.

Send the three chase emails — Kelly (systematic review due date + oral component), Wordley (final report 16 Oct vs W12 Thu), MMA2005 coordinator (notes portfolio date and format) — and file the replie

Kelly's answer is the highest-value unknown of the semester and this has now slipped two days; everything downstream of the systematic review is planned blind until it lands.

MMA2005: work W1–W5 topic pages against the practical worksheets and write every missing portfolio page, finishing with a written gap list for W6–W9

Pass/fail hurdle with an unknown date — failing it caps the unit at 45 — and yesterday's full audit did not happen, so this is the first tranche rather than a repeat attempt.

MEC4407: write the detailed-design section directly in the Team Drive doc — geometry, component list and material selection through to a readable draft, with today's revision history showing

17 days out from the 50% final report with no extensions, and staff verify contribution from Drive revision history — offline work does not count.

ENG4702: convert the ENG4701 progress report into the final paper skeleton — headings, recoil/dogboning/foreshortening result tables pasted in, and a section split sent to Daniel and Soumil

The paper is a hurdle on 19 Oct and the mid-sem break slot reserved for drafting it is gone; it only survives W11–12 if it starts now.

MEC4407: export and check the Fuse1 Nylon 12 print file for submission 2 (confirm it slices clean) so it is ready to hand in on campus tomorrow

Due Fri 2 Oct with no extensions, and today is the only online day — the print itself can only be done on a campus day.

MEC4407: open the ANSYS training portal, confirm which of the five discipline sets are still submittable, and finish the highest-value outstanding one end-to-end

10% of the unit is already released and transfers straight from the Abaqus FYP work — first check whether the lapsed weekly deadlines have actually closed the portal before spending more time on it.

BMS3052: 45 minutes of systematic-review screening and extraction logged in the review spreadsheet

Sunday's drip and yesterday's make-up both missed; a 30% item with a still-unknown due date only survives as a drip.
